How We Use It

We use your information to communicate with you, process bookings and applications, send newsletters, and improve our website and services.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us operate our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Website Analytics

We count visits to our public pages ourselves, on our own servers. There is no Google Analytics and no third-party tracking service.

For each page you open we record the page address, the website you came from (its name only, such as instagram.com—never the full link), any campaign tag in the link, whether the page stayed open for 30 seconds, how long it was open, and whether your window is phone, tablet or desktop sized.

We also store two random numbers in your own browser. One groups the pages of a single visit together and is replaced after 30 minutes without activity. The other stays until you clear it, so that if you come back next month we count you as one person returning rather than two strangers. Both are random. Neither is worked out from anything about you or your device, and neither means anything to anyone but us. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings, and you will simply be counted as someone new.

We do not store your IP address, and we do not store your browser’s user agent string. Your IP address is never recorded or turned into a code of any kind; your user agent is read only for the instant it takes to tell a search engine’s robot from a person, and is then discarded. Member pages, sign-in pages, and any link carrying a token, key, code or email address are never counted at all. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control, we count nothing.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for advertising or for counting traffic. Members who sign in get a cookie that keeps them signed in. Your shopping basket and the two random numbers described above are kept in your own browser’s storage rather than in a cookie. You can clear or block all of this in your browser settings.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights.
