Welcome to The Haven PDX Volunteers
The Haven PDX is more than a creative space.
It is a living, breathing community built by and for artists, healers, makers, dreamers, and the occasional lovable weirdo.
Housed in a former warehouse at 2505 NE Pacific St in Portland, OR, we are home to working studios, an art gallery, Rose Rooted Cafe (Portland's first brick-and-mortar non-alcoholic bar and cafe), Roots and Culture (a retail shop and music studio celebrating Indigenous, African, and Rastafarian makers), and Dreamweaver our community publication.
Now entering our 6th year, everything here is shaped by the people who show up.
As a volunteer, you are not just filling a shift. You are part of what makes The Haven work.
Your time, energy, and presence help keep this space alive and open for the community that depends on it.
our values
We believe in a creative community over competition, accessibility over exclusivity, and showing up for each other. The Haven is an interdisciplinary art and wellness collective, and that spirit runs through everything we do. We support thoughtful, cultural projects that value the indomitable spirit of human creativity. We run on the generosity of people who care about what we are building here, and that starts with you.
A Note from Adam, Grand Wrangler of Willing Hands
Welcome, and thank you for being here. Whether you are brand new or have been with us for a while, I am glad you found your way to The Haven. My job is to make sure you feel supported, connected, and put to good use. If you ever have questions, ideas, or just need to know where something is, I am your person.
You can reach me at any time at volunteers@thehavenpdx.com.
